Tooth extractions are done only as a last resort.  If extraction is absolutely necessary then a dental implant can be placed in the extracted site.  Dental implants can last up to a lifetime with proper daily care and regular hygiene appointments – and they’re also aren’t susceptible to decay.  If for some reasons, dental implants can’t be placed, Dr. Wenzinger
